BOTULINUM TOXIN INJECTIONS

Treatment with Botox injections typically takes only 10 to 15 minutes. For your first treatment with our office, you should allow extra time for a thorough consultation with Dr. Szymanski. She will take the time to evaluate your goals and expectations and work with you to decide on the best treatment for you. Some patients prefer pre-treatment with a numbing cream to help dull any discomfort, while others forgo anesthetic and are injected without.

Following injection, patients typically go back to their day without issues. Most patient begin to notice results within a few days, but full effect is typically reached at 14 days. Each patient is different, but Botox injections are typically repeated every 3 to 4 months to maintain the desired result.
