HYALURONIC ACID FILLERS

Hyaluronic Acid fillers are used to temporarily add volume into the face for a more youthful appearance. Our practice utilizes Juvederm which can treat fine lines are wrinkles, add volume to the cheeks, enhance the lips, and soften contours. 

As we age, volume in our face begins to droop. Restoring volume at the tops of the cheeks along the cheek bone restores a supple look to the face and allows for a smoother facial contour. For plump, full lips, Juvederm products can be injected to add volume for an irresistible pout. Fillers can also soften lines around the lips or smooth out a pursed look. Treatments with Juvederm typically take 15 minutes. For your first treatment with our office, you should allow extra time for a thorough consultation with Dr. Szymanski. She will take the time to evaluate your goals and expectations and work with you to decide on the best treatment for you and other options you may have. 

Many patients prefer to be pre-treated with a numbing cream to ease discomfort during the injections. Depending on the area being treated, Dr. Szymanski may also inject a local anesthetic to decrease discomfort during the filler injections. Results from filler injections can be seen immediately. Results may vary between patients, the area being treated, and the type of filler being used. In some areas, the effects can last up to two years. When necessary or desired, fillers can be reversed.
