A Letter from Dr. Karen D. Szymanski

Greetings,

Nearly three years ago, I opened KDS Aesthetics with the help of family and friends. Over this short amount of time, I have enjoyed providing care to the wonderful people of Eastern North Carolina and the surrounding areas. Over the next few weeks, I will be closing my practice to relocate to Georgia to live with my husband. KDS Aesthetics in Rocky Mount, NC will be permanently closed on March 31, 2022.

Two major factors contribute to my decision to close my practice. First, I wish to support my husband in his new permanent position in Georgia. Splitting my time between states has proven difficult. Second, owning and operating my practice while commuting from Georgia to North Carolina does not afford me the ability to dedicate myself fully to my practice.

For the next few months, I will be taking time to transition to life in Georgia and have decided to limit my practice to part-time work in Atlanta. I hope this time will allow me to recharge and make the best decision on pursuing my next adventure.

If you would like a copy of your medical records to be transferred to another practice or provider for continued care, please return a signed copy of our medical release form via fax or email at 970-293-5677 or to drs@kdsaesthetics.com

If you are seeking a provider in my absence, I would like to recommend either Dr. Amber Allen of Allen Aesthetics or Dr. Stewart Collins, sole practitioner, in Raleigh for your future plastic and reconstructive needs. I am confident these two surgeons will provide superb healthcare.

Rocky Mount, NC Office Closure

Dr. Karen Szymanski will no longer be seeing patients at the KDS Aesthetics office at 4082 Capital Drive, Rocky Mount, NC 27804 effective March 31, 2022.
